The DPA PowerStore 32 is a pre-configured residential battery energy storage platform combining a Deye 8kW single-phase hybrid inverter, 32kWh of Discover Helios LiFePO₄ battery storage and the key components required for installation.
Developed by DPA Energy, the PowerStore range simplifies residential battery system specification by combining a compatible inverter, battery, monitoring and protection components under a single part number. Rather than sourcing individual products, installers can specify a complete platform that reduces procurement time while maintaining flexibility to meet site-specific project requirements.
PowerStore 32 supports existing or new rooftop PV systems up to 12kW and is suitable for both new hybrid installations and battery retrofits. It is designed for homes with higher daily energy consumption, increased backup requirements or significant rooftop solar generation that would otherwise be exported to the grid.
PowerStore 32 is designed for residential installations where battery storage is being added to improve solar self-consumption, provide backup capability and support future household electrification.

PowerStore configurations have been informed by practical residential battery projects where energy consumption, solar generation, backup requirements and future electrical demand have been used to determine appropriate system sizing. For example, a recent DPA installation paired PowerStore 32 with a 10kW rooftop solar system exporting approximately 32.4kWh of energy per day while consuming around 9.9kWh. The system was configured to capture more of that excess solar generation while providing automatic backup for essential household loads, demonstrating the importance of matching battery capacity to measured site performance.
