Overview
The Victron VE.Bus BMS V2 is a Battery Management System designed to protect and manage Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8 V and 25.6 V (LiFePO₄) batteries in systems that use Victron VE.Bus inverters or inverter/chargers. It continuously monitors individual cell voltage and battery temperature to ensure safe and reliable system operation.
When abnormal conditions are detected, the VE.Bus BMS V2 intelligently controls charging, discharging, and system loads to prevent battery damage. It is the next-generation solution for VE.Bus-based lithium systems, offering expanded functionality and deeper integration with the Victron ecosystem.
