Overview

Important: A Fronius Smart Meter is required when installing the Fronius Wattpilot Home EV Charger with a Fronius PV inverter.

The Fronius Wattpilot Home 22 J 2.0 is an intelligent EV charger designed to deliver the lowest possible charging cost by intelligently combining surplus solar energy with variable electricity tariffs. It automatically selects the most economical charging option, whether that is self-generated PV energy or low-cost grid power.

Capable of switching automatically between single-phase and three-phase operation, the Wattpilot regulates charging in precise 1-amp steps. This allows optimal use of surplus PV energy from as low as 1.38 kW up to 22 kW, maximising self-consumption and sustainability.

Installation & Commissioning – Critical Notes
