Overview

The Victron Quattro is a powerful and flexible inverter/charger designed for demanding energy systems that require multiple AC sources. Similar in concept to a combined inverter and charger, the Quattro adds the critical advantage of two AC inputs, automatically connecting to the active source—such as grid and generator, or dual generators.

With no-break functionality on the primary output, advanced PowerAssist capability, and scalable system configurations, the Quattro is ideally suited to residential, marine, commercial, and off-grid applications where reliability, flexibility, and uninterrupted power are essential.

Key Features

Two AC Inputs & Two AC Outputs

  • Connects to two independent AC sources with automatic source selection
  • Primary output provides uninterrupted power transfer (<20 ms)
  • Secondary output is active only when AC input is available—ideal for non-essential loads

True Sine Wave Inverter & Charger

  • High-quality true sine wave inverter for sensitive equipment
  • Integrated battery charger with adaptive charging technology
  • Designed for reliable continuous operation

Unique PowerAssist Functionality

  • Prevents overload of limited AC sources such as generators or shore power
  • Automatically reduces battery charging when overload risk is detected
  • Boosts available AC power using battery energy when required

Scalable System Architecture

  • Up to six Quattro units can operate in parallel
  • Supports split-phase and three-phase system configurations
  • Suitable for small to large-scale power installations

Remote Monitoring & Control

  • Monitor and control locally or remotely when paired with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX)
  • Access via the free VRM app or VRM portal from phone, tablet, or computer
  • Advanced control options including system optimisation and generator automation
