Overview

The Victron Argofet Battery Isolators allow two or more batteries to be charged simultaneously from a single alternator or single-output battery charger, while keeping each battery bank electrically isolated. This ensures that discharging an auxiliary or house battery does not also discharge the starter battery.

Unlike traditional diode-based isolators, Argofet isolators use high-efficiency FET (Field Effect Transistor) technology. This results in an extremely low voltage drop, maximising charging efficiency and eliminating the need to increase alternator output voltage.
