Description

Overview

The Victron SolidSwitch 104 is a compact, solid-state DC switch designed to control DC loads of up to 70 V and 4 A using a very low power digital control signal.

It is commonly used within Victron lithium battery systems to control external alternator regulators, switch DC loads such as lighting, or expand the number of chargers that can be connected to the allow-to-charge (ATC) output of a Victron BMS.

Key Features

Solid-State DC Switching

  • Switches DC loads up to 70 V / 4 A
  • No mechanical contacts for silent, wear-free operation
  • Suitable for continuous-duty applications

Low-Power Control Interface

  • Controlled by a low power digital signal
  • Maximum control current draw of only 100 µA
  • Ideal for use with BMS or control logic outputs

Typical Use Cases

  • Control external alternator regulators (e.g. Balmar or Mastervolt Alpha Pro) in Victron lithium systems
  • Switch DC loads such as lights using a low-current control circuit
  • Increase the number of chargers connected to the ATC output of a Victron BMS

System Integration

  • Designed for seamless integration into Victron Energy systems
  • Supports advanced lithium battery and charging control strategies
  • Compact form factor for easy installation
