Overview

The Victron VE.Bus to BMS 12/200 Alternator Control Cable enables the charge control functionality of the BMS 12/200 to be used in conjunction with a VE.Bus BMS within Victron lithium battery systems.

Using this cable, the VE.Bus BMS communicates battery status to the BMS 12/200, allowing the alternator charge current to be limited to a safe level. In the event of a battery alarm, the charging process is immediately stopped to protect the lithium battery bank.
